GB General Contractors is an established professional home improvement contractor transforming homes in Houston and its surroundings communities for the past thirty years. Gil and Pattie Boyles started the construction company in 1979, working arduously to create for their clients a cozy home atmosphere that any owner would appreciate. Gil Boyles started his company driving nails by hand along side his project manager, Mark Gonzales, while Pattie Boyles executed from the inside.
Over the years, a continuous hands-on motto and expansion into custom home building has given Gil and staff the experience to take on any type of contractual work from home improvements to home modifications and (due to the Gulf coast location) home hurricane preparedness. GB General Contractors is a member of the Greater Houston Builders Association (GHBA) and Gil was the past president of the Remodelors Council 2006. During his tenure as president, Gil organized and lead the Remodelors Council to build a home in just 5 days for Habitat for Humanity, a feat never before attempted by the Council.
GB General Contractors is a CAP certified (Certified Aging in Place) contractor helping physically challenged people by remodeling and/or modifying their present home to accommodate their needs. GB General Contractors is a member of the Better Business Bureau since 2005 and a Certified Graduate Remodeler, a nationally recognized certification. In 2003, GB General Contractors became members of the Texas Residential Construction Commission (TRCC), an organization that helps resolve challenges between home owners and contractors.
In 2006, the main office located in Pearland Texas relocated to Tomball Texas (north side of Houston). The move was brought about in order to service not only the Pearland, Silverlake, Alvin, Clear Lake, Deer Park, Friendswood, Pasadena, The Heights, Memorial and the West University area but to expand into the Spring, The Woodlands, Tomball, Magnolia, Jersey Village, Champions Forest, and Cy Fair districts.
With Mark Gonzales and Chris Boyles heading the remodeling contracts on the south side of Houston and Ryan Boyles, supervising the construction projects on the north side of Houston, our clients can be assured of the expertise and supervision GB has been known for over 30 years.
