In this kitchen remodeling project, our client is thinking ahead and
preparing their home of 25 years for ease and wheelchair-accessible
kitchen area. We kept this direction in mind by utilizing as much
available space to encompass various work areas: wide door-access
into a butler’s pantry, wheelchair level desk and computer area,
center island enclosing an accessible drawer dishwasher at chair
level, as well as a standard cabinet dishwasher, two additional
wall ovens, ceiling to floor cabinets along with floor electrical
plug-ins. The glazed cabinet doors with new glass mosaic doors,
stainless steel appliances along with slate tile and granite counter
tops gave this kitchen a 21st century appeal along with an understated
remodeling geared to our client’s future needs.
Remodeling Kitchen Project:
- We applied a 1/4" wood veneer in order to put a different finish on the cabinets.

- Colorful and lateral pattern tile inserts on backsplash.
- The former utility room turned into a butler’s pantry.
- We installed new stainless steel appliances.
- Thinking down the road, we installed plug molding along with inserting electric outlets under the upper cabinets.
- The center island was equipped with a drawer dishwasher.
